Frequently Asked Questions
For your convenience, we have constructed a list of our most commonly
asked questions you may find helpful for preparing for your spa
Prior to arrival…
What time should I arrive?
It is requested that you arrive at the spa approximately 20 minutes
before your appointment. This will give you time to check in, fill out
any forms or go to the washroom, so your service may begin on time.
Arriving late will limit the time of your treatment, therefore lessening
your level of relaxation and pleasure. Your treatment must end on time
so the next appointment is not affected.
Do I shave before my treatment?
We do recommend refraining from shaving at least 12 hours before a
treatment. We want you to be as comfortable as possible and
shaving can cause a burning or itching sensation. For hair removal, the
length of the hair must be at least ¼ inch long for best results and
avoid any sun exposure for 24 hours before of after waxing.
Can I wear make-up?
Certainly, however for facial treatments, it will be removed. You may
freshen up afterwards in our bathroom, however we do not recommend
applying make up for at least 8 hours after receiving a facial in order
to receive the full benefits.
Should I alert my therapist or esthetician of any health concerns?
Yes, please notify the receptionist if you have high blood pressure,
allergies, any physical ailments or disabilities, as well as if you are
pregnant at the time of booking, so we may accommodate you the best way
Must I unclothe completely?
Undergarments are not necessary, our spa therapists are trained to
drape towels and sheets discreetly, to ensure your privacy at all times.
However, we want you to be comfortable and relaxed, so if you prefer
you are welcome to wear your undergarments.
May I ask my therapist to make adjustments to improve my comfort?
Absolutely. This is your time and we want you to enjoy your entire
experience. If there is anything we can do to enhance your level of
comfort due to: room temperature, massage pressure, music volume,
pillows etc. Please do not wait until the end of your treatment! Our
therapists are professionally trained to make any adjustments to cater
to your requests during your service.
